  • Joyce Jefferson is well known for her storytelling and interpretation of South Dakota history.
    She brings to life early-day pioneers such as Sarah Campbell (Aunt Sally), Kathryne Reynolds, Lucretia Marchbanks, and Mary Kercherval; who lived in the Black Hills of Dakota Territory in the 1800’s as well as Yanktonian Katherine Davis Chapman Tillman and Tripp County personality Orlean Micheaux.
  • Her signature presentation “Phenomenal Woman & Other Sheroes” has inspired and uplifted hundreds.
  • Joyce’s lively interpretations include singing, poetry and narration.
